As a Northern Virginia wedding photographer, my approach is relaxed and unhurried, allowing you to be fully present on a day that moves quickly. I focus on real emotion, authentic connection, and the quiet, unplanned moments that tell your story—offering gentle guidance only when it supports the flow of the day.

My editing style is natural, with subtle warmth to preserve the feeling of your wedding as it happened. Familiarity with Northern Virginia light, venues, and seasonal weather allows me to work confidently in any setting, embracing the atmosphere while remaining flexible when needed.

I primarily work in a documentary style, capturing moments as they naturally unfold. I offer gentle guidance when needed to help you feel comfortable or ensure a moment is captured beautifully, but my goal is to preserve your day authentically—not stage it.

2. How do you help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Many couples feel nervous about being photographed, and that’s completely normal. I work quietly and intuitively, giving you space to be present with each other. Over time, the camera fades into the background, allowing real emotion and connection to shine through.

3. How many hours of coverage do we need for our wedding day?
Coverage varies depending on your timeline and priorities, but most couples find 6–8 hours allows for a relaxed day without feeling rushed. I’m happy to guide you on the ideal amount based on your specific plans.

4. What happens if it rains or the weather is unpredictable?
Northern Virginia weather can be unpredictable, but I’m experienced in working with changing conditions. I embrace overcast skies, soft light, and indoor spaces, and I remain flexible if  adjustments are needed.

5. Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes—adding a second photographer can capture multiple perspectives, important details, and moments happening simultaneously, which is especially helpful for larger weddings or overlapping timelines.

6. Do you have experience with Northern Virginia venues and locations?
Absolutely. I’ve photographed a wide variety of Northern Virginia venues, from historic estates to modern spaces and scenic outdoor locations. I understand the light, architecture, and natural surroundings, which helps me capture each wedding beautifully.

7. When will we receive our wedding photos, and how many images are included?
You’ll receive a curated gallery of fully edited images within the timeline outlined in your contract. Most weddings include a generous selection of images that tell the full story of your day, thoughtfully edited to reflect your wedding authentically.

8. How do we book you, and what is required to reserve our date?
Your wedding date is secured with a signed contract and retainer. Once booked, I’ll guide you through the next steps so the process feels simple, clear, and stress-free.
