If you’re searching for a photographer who can help you choose the best Oregon Coast elopement locations you are in the right place! I know the best spots and I am happy to share.
The Oregon Coast is one of the most breathtaking places to elope in the Pacific Northwest. From rugged clifflines to secluded beaches, it offers endless opportunities for a meaningful and unforgettable experience.
As an elopement photographer, I help couples not only capture their day—but also choose the best Oregon Coast elopement locations.

If you’re searching for an Oregon Coast elopement photographer, you’re likely looking for more than just beautiful photos—you want someone who can guide you through the entire experience and help you choose the best Oregon Coast elopement locations.
The Oregon Coast is one of the most unique places to elope, with ever-changing weather, hidden beach access points, and dramatic landscapes that shift throughout the day. Having an experienced Oregon Coast elopement photographer means you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
I help couples plan an intentional, stress-free elopement by assisting with location ideas, timeline planning, and creating space for moments that feel natural and genuine. My approach is focused on capturing your day in a way that feels effortless, so you can be fully present instead of worrying about logistics.
One of the biggest reasons couples book an Oregon Coast elopement photographer is for help choosing the perfect location. Here are some of my favorite spots:
Iconic and dramatic, with Haystack Rock creating a stunning backdrop.
Golden cliffs, sweeping ocean views, and incredible sunset light.
Perfect for couples wanting epic cliffs, natural arches, and fewer crowds.
A romantic and quieter location with waterfalls, caves, and beach access.
Ecola State Park is one of the most scenic locations for an Oregon Coast elopement, with sweeping cliffside views, forested trails, and panoramic ocean overlooks just north of Cannon Beach.

Timing plays a huge role in your experience.
The best time to work with an Oregon Coast elopement photographer is:
That said, cloudy or foggy days often create the most cinematic and emotional photos.

One of my favorite Oregon Coast elopements was with a couple who wanted something simple, quiet, and meaningful.
We chose a lesser-known stretch of coastline just outside of the more popular areas to avoid crowds. The day started with soft fog rolling in, creating a moody and intimate atmosphere. Instead of rushing the timeline, we embraced the slower pace—walking along the beach, stopping at cliff viewpoints, and letting moments unfold naturally.
By the time the sun began to set, the fog lifted just enough to reveal the ocean behind them, creating the kind of light you can’t plan for.
This is what I love most about being an Oregon Coast elopement photographer—every day feels different, and every couple gets an experience that’s completely their own.
To make your day seamless and enjoyable:

Flowy dresses, neutral tones, and layered outfits photograph beautifully against the coastal landscape.
Movement, texture, and natural colors help create timeless, emotional images.
The Oregon Coast offers a wide range of landscapes, and each area has something unique to offer. As an Oregon Coast elopement photographer, I help couples choose locations that align with their vision and experience.
Perfect for iconic views and a classic coastal feel, Cannon Beach is ideal for couples who want dramatic scenery without a long hike.
Known for its sweeping dunes and coastal cliffs, Pacific City offers a mix of accessibility and stunning views—especially at sunset.
For couples wanting something more secluded, Brookings offers rugged cliffs, quieter beaches, and a more private experience.
Bandon is known for its unique rock formations and expansive beaches, making it a beautiful option for a more adventurous elopement.
Each location creates a completely different experience, and I help guide you toward the one that fits you best.

Some locations require permits depending on group size and setup.
Rain and fog are part of the Oregon Coast’s magic—and often create the best photos.
3-6 months in advance is recommended.
