This featured gallery reflects a real wedding day, documented with a calm, documentary approach that prioritizes honest emotion and natural connection. As a Seattle wedding photographer, I focus on the in-between moments—the quiet exchanges, subtle gestures, and unspoken emotion that give the day its meaning.

Nothing here is staged or over-directed. Gentle guidance is offered only when it supports the flow of the day, allowing the story to unfold naturally. The images in this gallery are a true reflection of the wedding as it was experienced—unfiltered, intentional, and deeply human.

Created with restraint and care, this work is meant to be revisited over time, offering a timeless record of a day that mattered.

My approach to wedding photography is intentionally calm and unhurried, creating space for you to be fully present on a day that moves quickly. I work in a documentary style, focusing on real emotion, natural connection, and the moments that unfold when nothing is forced. Rather than directing or staging, I observe thoughtfully and offer gentle guidance only when it brings ease or supports the story—allowing your wedding day to be experienced, not managed.

My editing style is true to life, with natural tones enhanced by a subtle warmth to preserve the feeling of the day as it was lived. Familiarity with PNW light and weather allows me to work confidently in a wide range of conditions, embracing soft overcast skies and shifting light as part of the atmosphere while remaining flexible when needed.

The goal is simple: an experience that feels grounded and intentional, resulting in imagery that reflects your wedding day honestly—centered on presence, emotion, and the quiet moments you’ll want to remember long after the day has passed.

Where I'm Based & Where I'm Available

Based IN Washington But Available worldwide

At the moment, I reside in greater Seattle - and I absolutely love Western Washington, but I am commonly in the state of Virginia as well. So, no matter where your wedding is - either here in Washington State or abroad around the world, I am available and would love to hear from you.

FAQs I Commonly Receive as a Wedding Photographer Based in Seattle

1. Do you pose us, or is your approach more candid?
My approach is primarily documentary, meaning I focus on real moments as they naturally unfold. I don’t rely on rigid posing or constant direction. That said, I offer gentle guidance when it helps you feel comfortable or when light and timing call for it. The goal is for your wedding day to feel lived, not staged.

2. How do you help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Most couples tell me they’re not comfortable being photographed—and that’s completely okay. I work quietly and intuitively, giving you space to be present with each other rather than perform for the camera. Over time, the camera fades into the background, allowing real connection to take center stage.

3. How do you handle Seattle’s weather and low light?
As a wedding photographer based in greater Seattle, I’m very familiar with changing light, overcast skies, and indoor wedding venues. I’m confident working in all lighting conditions and often embrace the mood that Pacific Northwest weather brings to a wedding day. If you'd like to see some of those weddings that I have photographed, please feel free to view these couple of examples at the MV Skansonia and Fox Hollow Farm.

4. How many hours of coverage do we need?
Most couples choose at least 8 hours of coverage to allow the day to unfold without rushing. I’m happy to help you determine what feels right based on your timeline and priorities.

5. What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain is always a possibility in Seattle, and I plan accordingly (check out this wedding at Lakewold Gardens, as an example). I’m comfortable photographing in light rain and adapting as needed. If conditions become extreme, we’ll pivot thoughtfully while keeping the experience calm and grounded.

6. When will we receive our photos, and how many images are included?
You can expect a thoughtfully curated gallery delivered within the timeline outlined in your contract. Each gallery includes a generous collection of fully edited images that tell the complete story of your day. I deliver 100 photos per hour of coverage.

7. Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes, a second photographer can be added depending on your coverage needs and the scale of your wedding. This is especially helpful for larger guest counts or overlapping moments.

8. How do we book you, and what’s required to reserve our date?
Your date is officially reserved with a signed agreement and non-refundable retainer. From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps with clarity and care. Inquire today.

9. Do you also offer engagement photography?
Yes I do! I offer a complimentary 1 hour engagement session to all my wedding couples. You can check out more of my engagement work here.

10. Do you do elopements or micro weddings?
Yes I do. Washington is such a gorgeous place to elope. If an elopement is more your style, you can check out my elopement photography here.  You can also check out some real Mt. Rainier elopements I have done and some from Cannon Beach as well.
